This letter is to provide advanced notification of scheduled <br /> closed days and impacts to permit issuance and inspections. <br /> The City of Stockton Permit Center will be closed on the following days: <br /> November 11t" (Veterans Day) <br /> November 21St through November 25t"(Thanksgiving Week) <br /> December 21st, 2011 through January 2"d, 2012 (ChristmaslNew Year's Week) <br /> During this time, there will be no permits issued. Blanket Utility Permit holders will still be able <br /> to perform emergency work in the City's right-of-way. Permit holders should call for control <br /> numbers, the next business day, when City offices are open. <br /> Inspection services for Building and/or Engineering Services will not be available during the <br /> scheduled closed days; we maybe able to accommodate inspection during the scheduled days <br /> off at an additional cost to the permitee. The inspection requests must be made in writing and <br /> paid for a minimum of three business days prior to the requested inspection date; this is to <br /> ensure that staff will be available to provide the service. Please plan your projects accordingly. <br /> Also, please be advised that no construction work will be permitted on major Stockton streets <br /> during the upcoming holiday season: This moratorium extends from November 21st, 2011 to <br /> January 2"d, 2012. <br /> Major streets include: <br /> Benjamin Holt Drive-Pacific Avenue to El Dorado Street <br /> Bianchi Road <br /> Center Street-Cleveland to Martin Luther King Blvd. <br /> Claremont Avenue <br /> Eight Mile Road <br /> El Dorado Street-North of the Calaveras River <br /> EI Dorado Street-Cleveland to Martin Luther King Blvd. <br />
