V The Project Manager/Project Geologist is responsible for the dissemination of the information contained in this plan to site personnel and to the responsible representative of each subcontractor firm working under ATC on the project. The Project Manager/Project Geologist will act as the Site Safety Officer. The Site Safety Officer is responsible for ensuring that the following items are adequately addressed: • Ensure that all personnel on-site adhere to the requirements of the site safety plan. • Obtain acknowledgement, on sign-off page enclosed as Attachment A, from all on-site personnel or visitors regarding their acceptance of the site safety plan requirements. ■ Investigate all incidents and accidents and report in writing to the Corporate Safety Officer. ■ Ensure that proper personal decontamination points are available. V The Project Manager/Project Geologist has the authority to suspend work anytime they determine that the provisions of the plan are inadequate to ensure worker safety. V Each individual working on, or inspecting the site shall be responsible for reading this site safety plan and for acknowledging acceptance of all the requirements thereof by signing the attached sign-off 6, page. Each individual shall be responsible for complying with the site safety plan and for conducting himself/herself in a healthy and safe manner at all rimes. Each individual shall be responsible for notifying the Site Safety Officer of any violations of, or recommended upgrades to, the project safety 4- plan. L. 3. MEDICAL SURVEILLANCE ATC personnel engaged in site operations shall be participants in the Medical Surveillance Program, and must be cleared by the examining physician(s) to wear respiratory protection devices and v protective clothing for working with hazardous materials. The applicable requirements under CAC Title 8, Section 5216 will be observed. 4. SAFETY/ORIENTATION TRAINING Field personnel from ATC, its subcontractors, and other site visitors will be briefed on this site safety �. plan.
