The Project Supervisor is responsible for the submittal of this plan tt, the Project Foreman and for advising the Project Foreman on health and safety matters. He has the authority to provide for the auditing of compliance with the provisions of this plan, suspend or modify work practices, and to administer disciplinary acticns for individuals whose conduct does not meet the requirements set forth herein. The Project Supervisor will ensure that the following items are adequately addressed: t • Safety Supplies and Eq,iipraent Inventory • Medical Surveillance Program/Physical Examinations • Training Programs/Hazard Communication Accident/Incident Reporting Procedures • Decontamination/Contamination Reduction Procedures The Project Foreman and the Project Geologist are responsible for thedissemination of the information contained in this plan to site personnel and to the responsible representative of each subcontracting firm working tinder ExceItec11, Inc, on the project. The Project Foreman will act as the Site Safety Officer. During the geological investigation when the Project Foreman is not present, the Project Geologist will the Site Safety Officer. The Site Safety Officer is responsible for ensact as uring that the following items are adequately addressed: w� Ensure that all personnel on-site adhere to the requirements of the project safety plan. • Obtain acknowledgement, on signoff page enclosed as Attachment A, from all on-site. personnel or visitors regarding their acceptance of the project safety E i Plan requirements. • Investigate all incidents and accidents and report in writing to the Project Supervisor who will report to the Corporate Safety Officer. • Ensure that Proper personal decontamination points are available. The Project Supervisor and the Site Safety Officer have the authority to suspend work x anytime they determine that the provisions of the plan are inadequate to ensure worker safety. The Site Safety Officer shall also inform the Project Supervisor of individuals whose conduct is not consistent with the requirements of the plan.
