� n <br /> 07 July 2000 <br /> AGE-NC Project No 98-0448 <br />' Page 7 of 12 <br />' Total petroleum hydrocarbons quantified as gasoline (TPH-g) in accordance with EPA <br /> Method 8015 Modified/TO-12, <br /> • L Volatile aromatics (benzene, toluene, ethyl benzene and xylenes BTEX) and methyl tert- <br />' butyl ether(MTBE) in accordance with EPA Method 8020/TO-12, <br />' Laboratory reports for vapor analysis, testing methods, laboratory quality assurance/quality control <br /> (QA/QC)reports, and sample chain of custody documentation will be presented in quarterly reports <br />' Vapor Influent concentrations, vapor effluent concentrations and operational parameters will be <br /> monitored on a weekly basis to ensure optimal destruction of recovered hydrocarbon vapors and to <br /> monitor cleanup progress I ' <br />' The SVE/IAS system will be maintained on a weekly basis according to manufacturers <br /> recommendations (i a lubrication, oil changing, system adjustments, etc ) <br />' Quarterly ground water monitoring and sampling will be performed at the site on wells MW-1, <br /> MW-2, MW-3, MW-4, MW-6 and MW-8 throughout the remediation period to monitor remedial <br /> progress Depth to ground water and dissolved oxygen measurements will be collected on a monthly <br /> basis to determine if ground water mounding is occurring as a result of the IAS system <br /> 1 <br /> 3 6 PROGRESS AND CONFIRMATION SAMPLING <br /> After approximately twelve months of operation or when efficiency of the SVE unit has significantly <br /> declined, soil samples will be collected from the targeted remediation area Analytical results of soil <br />' samples will serve to approximate remaining petroleum hydrocarbon levels and to determine if <br /> continuing remedial operation is necessary <br />' Soil samples will be analyzed by a State of California Department of Health Services (DHS)- <br /> certified laboratory for the following constituents <br />' 9 TPH-g in accordance with EPA Method 8015 Modified/5030, <br /> • BTEX and MTBE in accordance with EPA Method 8020, and <br />' 0 Fuel oxygenates, including MTBE, tertiary-butyl alcohol (TBA), di-isopropyl ether (RIPE), <br /> ethyl tertiary-butyl ether (ETBE) and tertiary-amyl methyl ether (TAME) by EPA Method <br /> 8260 <br /> Laboratory,reports for soil analysis, testing methods, laboratory quality assurance/quality control <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc <br /> 1 , <br />
