INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request of Mr Bob Long of Sierra Lumber Manufacturers,Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc <br /> (AGE)has prepared the enclosed Additional Monitoring Well Installation Work Plan for the property <br /> located at 375 West Hazelton Avenue, Stockton, California The scope of work includes the <br /> installation,development,and survey of four additional ground water monitoring wells at the above- <br /> referenced site The site and surrounding area are illustrated on Figure 1 Structures,soil borings,and <br /> monitoring well locations are illustrated on Figure 2 <br /> This work plan has been prepared in accordance with guidelines established by the Central Valley <br /> Regional Water Quality Control Board (CVRWQCB) for the subsurface investigation of <br /> underground storage tank (UST) sites Background information, including details of previous site <br /> assessment work, is presented in Appendix A <br /> 2.0. SCOPE OF WORK <br /> The scope of the work includes the advancement of four pilot soil borings for the collection of soil <br /> samples and installation of ground water monitoring wells The scope of work will include the <br /> following tasks <br /> • Permitting and pre-field work activities, <br /> • Pilot drilling and soil sample collection, <br /> • Monitoring well installation and development, <br /> • Laboratory analysis of soil samples, <br /> • Quarterly ground water sampling and analysis, and <br /> • Preparation of a report of findings <br /> 21 PERMITTING AND PRE-FIELD WORK ACTIVITIES <br /> Applicable site assessment permits will be obtained from the San Joaquin County Environmental <br /> Health Department(EHD) In addition,an update to the site health and safety plan presently on-file <br /> will be prepared in accordance with Occupational Safety and Health Guidance Manual for <br /> Hazardous Waste Site Activities (National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health <br /> Administration, U S Coast Guard and U S Environmental Protection Agency, 1985) Prior to <br /> . mobilization, the proposed well locations will be clearly marked and a utility clearance obtained <br /> Advanced GcoEnvironmental,Inc <br />
