(ATC) and has the following comments.
The SCM provides ATC's overall assessment of the site features and condition. ATC
estimates that 5.16 pounds of total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPHg) remain in
the groundwater, and 5,131.73 pounds of TPHg remain in the soil at your site.
Results of routine quarterly groundwater monitoring and sampling indicate that there is
mostly adequate definition of the lateral extent of most contaminants of concern, the
exceptions being TPHg and TPH as diesel (TPHd) which are not defined to the west. All
monitoring wells located onsite, and MW-9 located offsite to the west, also have reported
concentrations of 1,2-DCA.
Please proceed with preparation and submittal of a feasibility study comparing at least two
different methods for remediation ' of the petroleum hydrocarbon and 1,2-DCA
contamination, in both soil and groundwater, at your site. The Feasibility Study is due for
submittal to the EHD no later than September 1'2, 2008.
If you have any questions please call Lori Duncan at (209) 468-0337.
Sincerely,
Lori Duncan, REHS Nuel C.
