Harding Way
Stockton CA 95205
San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (SJC/EHD) has reviewed the file
for the above referenced site and has the following comments.
The investigation of the petroleum hydrocarbon contamination at this former underground
storage tank (UST) site was continued in December 2005 with the advancement of five
soil borings. Soil and grab groundwater samples were collected from these borings and
submitted for chemical analysis. .Preliminary laboratory analytical data from some of
these borings was faxed to SJC/EHD, but a complete report of the work has not been
submitted. Please proceed with submittal of a Report of Findings detailing the scope of
work performed and including conclusions and recommendations for further work. The
Report is due to SJC/EHD no later than May 26, 2006.
Review of the historical analytical data collected.from this site indicate total petroleum
hydrocarbon as diesel (TPHd) has been detected in the soil, at concentrations up to 1,700
milligrams per kilogram (mg/kg). Please add.analysis for TPHd to the suite of analytes
tested for during the routine.quarterly groundwater monitoring and sampling events..
If you have any questions or comments please call Lori Duncan at(209)468-0337.
Donna Heran, RENS, Director
Environmental Health Department
Lori Duncan, Senior REHS Nuel C.
