Extent of Petroleum Hydrocarbons
DATED: September 21, 2005
PREPARED BY:ATC Associates. Inc. (ATC)
APPROVED >( with Conditions (See Below)
ADEQUATE AND NECESSARY ELEMENTS OF THE WORKPLAN (H&S
25296.10,(c)(3)•):
1) Install three direct push soil borings to collect soil and groundwater samples to
approximately 55 feet below surface grade (bsg) to define the lateral extent of the
contamination in soil and groundwater.
2) Analyze samples for TPH-g, BTEX, and all 5 oxygenates.
COMMENTS AND CONDITIONS:
1) Analyses must include lead scavengers 1,2-DCA and EDB since 1,2-DCA has
been consistently detected in quarterly sampling events. ATC has submitted
additional map showing the location of the 2 additional borings.
3) Submit fee and permit application to EHD before implementation of work.
4) Implement proposed work.by October 31, 2005. .
REASONS FOR DISAPPROVAL OF THE WORKPLAN (H&S 25296.10,(C)(3).):
None
DATED September 22, 2005 BY
f 0
Cc: CRWQCB, Central Valley Region—James L.
