San Joaquin County Motorpool Facility February 15,2001 Groundwater Monitoring Report Fourth Quarter 2000 ' 6.1 Groundwater Analytical Results Laboratory analyses of the groundwater samples were conducted by Acculabs, Inc , a State- Certified laboratory located in Davis, California Fourth quarter groundwater sample analytical results are summarized in Table 2 and shown in Figure 3 Laboratory reports are presented in Appendix D A historical summary of groundwater sample analytical results is summarized in ' Table 3 7.0 SUMMARY ' Based upon the data presented in this report, previous investigations, current regulatory guidelines, and the judgment of TEM, the following summary of findings and conclusions are presented ' • On December 18, 2000, groundwater sampling was conducted for two (2) groundwater monitoring wells (MW-1 and MW-2) A total of two (2) groundwater samples, one (1) ' sample from each well, was collected and submitted to a State-Certified laboratory for analyses, ' • The average depth to groundwater measured at the SITE during this sampling event is approximately 43 78 feet bgs An accurate groundwater gradient and direction of flow could not be calculated due to the limited number of wells at the SITE, a A slight LPH sheen was observed in monitoring well MW-1, ' • TPH-G concentrations in the groundwater samples collected from monitoring wells MW-1 and MW-2 were 220,000 micrograms per liter (ug/1) and 57,000 ug/l, respectively TPH-D concentrations were not reported at or above the laboratory reporting limit in any of the groundwater samples, 0 Benzene concentrations in the groundwater samples collected from monitoring wells MW-1 ' and MW-2 were 51,000 ug/l and 30,000 ug/l, respectively, • An MTBE concentration of 75,000 ug/1 was reported from the groundwater sample collected ' from monitoring well MW-1 MTBE concentrations were not reported at or above the laboratory reporting limit in the groundwater sample collected from monitoring well MW-2, ia A Napthalene concentration of 6,600 ug/l was reported from the groundwater sample collected from monitoring well MW-1, and ' • The purged groundwater was transported by IWM and disposed of at the Seaport Environmental facility in Redwood City, California lie ' 3 w
