Immediate attempts must be made to locate
this well and begin sampling and monitoring it before the endo?eth3rd quarter-1997. Once MW-7 is
located, it should be determined if this well is capable of completing the task it was designed for. MW-7 is
to be repaired as needed or it should be destroyed under a permit issued by PHS-EHD. If destroyed, it
will need to be replaced with another monitoring well. PHS-EHD should be notified of your decision!,prior j
to the 3`d quarter's sampling event.
Enclosed please find the new groundwater sampling requirement from the Central Valley Regional Water
i
Quality Control Board for the seven (7) additives of concern at leaking underground tanks sites. Please
incorporate this requirement into every sampling event for all BP sites with monitorin8 wells in San
Joaquin County beginning wi the 3`d quarter-1997 and continue to sample for the additives every
quarter until re-directed by PHS-EHD.
i
Missing from the file are the Quarterly Monitoring Reports for the 2nd and 4`quarters of 1996.
