Box 388 • Stockton, CA 95201-0388 <br /> (209) 468-3420 • Q <br /> ry <br /> SCOTT HOOTEN 2APR 111994 <br /> BP OIL CO <br /> 295 SW 41 STREET, BLD 13 ST N <br /> RENTON, WA 98055 SITE CODE: 1554 <br /> RE: BP Oil Facility #11195 <br /> 16500 S I-5 <br /> Lathrop, CA <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Services, Environmental Health Division <br /> (PHS/EHD) has reviewed the "Supplemental Site Investigation Report" submitted by <br /> Alisto Engineering Group, dated February 4, 1994, and has the following comments: <br /> -It will be necessary in the future to install additional monitoring wells <br /> to physically define the horizontal and vertical extent of the groundwater <br /> contamination. <br /> -At this time PHS/EHD requests that an "Interim" clean-up plan for the <br /> groundwater be implemented consisting of bailing or pumping. Contaminated <br /> water should be properly disposed of with receipts being forwarded to <br /> PHS/EHD. Please submit a workplan for "Interim" clean-up by June 1, 1994. <br /> -Quarterly monitoring reporting shall continue which should include data <br /> generated form the "Interim" cleanup. <br /> -As required by Title 23 of the California Code of. Regulations, a <br /> "Corrective Action Plan" is required.
