Page 3 <br /> QCI # 1-87-055 <br /> PERCOLATION TESTS <br /> The percolation test holes were excavated on March 6 , 1987 . <br /> The holes were prepared and presaturated on March 6 and 8 , 1987 , <br /> by our field engineering staff in accordance with Manual of Septic <br /> Tank Practice , the Federal Housing Administration specification <br /> and San Joaquin County Rules and Regulations . <br /> The percolation test rate measurement readings commenced <br /> during the first hour after the 24-hour saturation period . <br /> The percolation test rate measurements were recorded on March 9 , <br /> 1987 . The results of these tests are presented for each perco- <br /> lation test hole. <br /> LIMITATIONS <br /> This report phase completes the scope of our participation <br /> for the project to date. As stated in the "General Discussion" <br /> section , an individualized recommendation for this site may <br /> be developed at the time of actual construction of the disposal <br /> area trenches . <br /> The data contained in this report is based on information <br /> acquired form the test borings at the proposed project site , <br /> upon the observation of our engineering representatives the re- <br /> sults of our field tests , and the "state of the art" in geo- <br /> technical engineering. <br /> It is possible that variations in soil conditions could <br /> exist between or beyond the points of our explorations , there- <br /> fore , if undersirable conditions or variations are encountered <br /> in the field during construction and/or installation, which <br /> differ from those assumed in the preparation of this report , <br /> our firm must be notified in order that supplemental modifica- <br /> tions can be provided . <br /> JQCI > f-11ty Control Inspection <br />
