Page 3
QCI # 1-87-055
PERCOLATION TESTS
The percolation test holes were excavated on March 6 , 1987 .
The holes were prepared and presaturated on March 6 and 8 , 1987 ,
by our field engineering staff in accordance with Manual of Septic
Tank Practice , the Federal Housing Administration specification
and San Joaquin County Rules and Regulations .
The percolation test rate measurement readings commenced
during the first hour after the 24-hour saturation period .
The percolation test rate measurements were recorded on March 9 ,
1987 . The results of these tests are presented for each perco-
lation test hole.
LIMITATIONS
This report phase completes the scope of our participation
for the project to date. As stated in the "General Discussion"
section , an individualized recommendation for this site may
be developed at the time of actual construction of the disposal
area trenches .
The data contained in this report is based on information
acquired form the test borings at the proposed project site ,
upon the observation of our engineering representatives the re-
sults of our field tests , and the "state of the art" in geo-
technical engineering.
It is possible that variations in soil conditions could
exist between or beyond the points of our explorations , there-
fore , if undersirable conditions or variations are encountered
in the field during construction and/or installation, which
differ from those assumed in the preparation of this report ,
our firm must be notified in order that supplemental modifica-
tions can be provided .
JQCI > f-11ty Control Inspection
