This section also provides the names of contacts for <br /> information about the Project activities. <br /> ' 4.1 FACT SHEETS <br /> Fact sheets are information flyers written in non-technical language to inform the <br /> community of key issues about the investigation and/or cleanup activities involving the <br /> ' Project, explain the findings, and discuss the schedule and opportunities for public input. <br /> Fact Sheets may include the following information, when appropriate, depending upon <br /> the timing and status of the Project: <br /> ' • Project history and former Facility map, <br /> Regulatory agency actions and status of regulatory program, <br /> ' • Description of issues, <br /> Schedule of activities, <br /> ' • Process for public involvement, <br /> • Location of information repository, <br /> • Name, address, and phone number of contact persons, <br /> • Summary of investigations, <br /> ' • Summary of feasibility study and selected remedy, and <br /> Description of cleanup alternatives. <br /> Fact sheets will be distributed describing planned field activities to individuals on the <br /> mailing list. Future revisions of the PPP will include the community mailing list, along <br /> with the following as pertinent and appropriate: <br /> • Representatives from the city of Ripon as well as county officials, <br /> • State and/or Federal agency representatives, <br /> ' • Elected members of the state and/or federal legislatures, <br /> Representatives of community groups, <br /> ' • Principals of schools and a representative of child day care centers near the <br /> former Facility, <br /> ' Local business people, including people who own or lease former Facility <br /> parcels, <br /> • Local residents, and <br /> ' • Other interested parties. <br /> ' 4.2 PUBLIC REPOSITORY <br /> The Ripon Public Library serves as a public repository of Project documents.
