Box 2009
Stockton, California 95201
RE: Mohr-Fry Ranches, 950 Industrial Drive, Stockton, California
Please find enclosed, WHF's Quarterly Groundwater Sampling Report for the above
referenced property. The laboratory water samples were all non-detect for the compounds
analyzed. On behalf of our client, we are requesting that no further investigation be
required at this site.
Using the Environmental Fate Worksheets (enclosed) from the 1989 LUFT Field Manual,
the worst case well, MW-3, was plotted. All contamination levels were acceptable with
the exception of the xylene at 50 feet. Groundwater samples from 3/30/93 and 3/11/94
both tested "ND".
We are proposing that WHF conduct groundwater monitoring events every six months for
two years and that Mohr-Fry Ranches continue to conduct monthly water level
measurements to monitor gradient changes. If the water samples remain non-detect over
this period of time, we will then request an evaluation by your department and permanent
closure of the site.
Please contact me at (209) 579-8138, if you have any questions.
Sincerely
Michael J.
