Yy <br /> 3. 0 PERSONNEL RESPONSIBILITIES <br /> Project Manager/Health & Safety Officer (HSO) <br /> Jan Kappmeyer, Cypress Environmental <br /> L Lead Driller, Spectrum Exploration, Inc. - To be named before <br /> commencement of field activities <br /> Ms. Kappmeyer will serve as both the project manager and the Site <br /> HSO. As such, she will be responsible for overall implementation <br /> of the workplan and health and safety plan, and for enforcement of <br /> health and safety rules on site, as well as the performance of the <br /> .. air monitoring to be conducted. The Spectrum Exploration, Inc. <br /> lead driller will act as their HSO and will be responsible for <br /> enforcement of the health and safety requirements for their <br /> employees. All changes to this health and safety plan must be <br /> approved and implemented by the Site HSO, in consultation with an <br /> Industrial Hygienist. The Site HSO will act as emergency <br /> coordinator in the event of an emergency. <br /> 4 . 0 HAZARD ASSESSMENT <br /> 4. 1 Chemical Hazards <br /> ''w The potential chemical hazards that may be encountered in the <br /> course of the field activities at the site consist of acetone and <br /> other volatile organics such as 2-butanone, 4-methyl-2-pentanone, <br /> VW ethylbenzene, styrene, xylenes, and benzaldehyde. Acetone is the <br /> primary constituent found, while the others were found in trace <br /> concentrations.
