Spreckels must include this table in the next quarterly <br /> report due by 1 May 2008. <br /> 4. The table summarizing the groundwater concentrations needs to include the depth to <br /> water and groundwater elevation. Spreckels needs to include this information in future <br /> monitoring reports. <br /> 5. The Letter requested Spreckels to include a table summarizing historical lateral and <br /> vertical flow directions and gradients. Spreckels needs to include this table in future <br /> monitoring reports. <br /> 6. Spreckels needs to work with the analytical laboratory to reach a lower detection limit. <br /> The detection limit in the Report for the fuel oil is 250 pg/L, but Spreckels needs to get <br /> this limit down to a maximum of 100 pg/L. The 100 pg/L is the taste and odor threshold <br /> Regional Water Board staff will use to evaluate the Site for closure. <br /> In summary, by 1 May 2008, please submit the first quarter 2008 monitoring report <br /> summarizing the first quarter 2008 sampling event and including lower detection limits for fuel <br /> oil and tables with the water supply well information, monitoring well construction data, depths <br /> to groundwater and groundwater elevation, and historical groundwater gradients and flow <br /> directions.
