KLEINFELDER
I File No. 23 -480020 . D00
a August 26, 1994
k
 c
7.0 LIMITATIONS
t
Kleinfelder has prepared this report in accordance with the generally accepted standards of care
which exist in northern California at the time of writing. It should be recognized that definition
and evaluation of geologic and chemical subsurface conditions is difficult. Judgments leading to
conclusions and recommendations are generally made with an incomplete knowledge of the
subsurface and/or historic conditions applicable to the site. More extensive studies may further
reduce the uncertainties associated with this assessment. Kleinfelder should be notified for
additional consultation if the client wishes to reduce the uncertainties beyond the level associated
with this report. No warranty, expressed or implied, is made.
1 . The conclusions and recommendations of this report are for general design purposes for the
Tank Excavation at the San Joaquin County Garage as described in the text of this report.
The conclusions and recommendations in this report are invalid if:
a) The assumed design loads change
l b) The report is used for adjacent or other property
I c) Changes of grades and/or groundwater occur between the issuance of this report
and construction
d) Any other change is implemented which materially alters the project from that
proposed at the time this report was prepared
l The conclusions and recommendations in this report are based on borings drilled for this
investigation. It is possible that variations in the soil conditions could exist between or
beyond the points of exploration, or the groundwater elevation may change, both of which
may require additional investigations, consultation, and possible design revisions.
This report was prepared in accordance with the generally accepted standard of practice
which existed in San Joaquin County at the time the report was written. No warranty,
expressed or implied, is made.
It is the CLIENT'S responsibility to see that all parties of the project, including the designer,
contractor, subcontractor, etc., are made aware of this report in its entirety.
This report may be used only by the client and only for the purposes stated, within a
reasonable time from its issuance. Land use, site conditions (both on site and off side) or
other factors may change over time, and additional work may be required with the passage of
time. Any parry other than the client who wishes to use this report shall notify Kleinfelder,
I
ETlf:md 7EI94
Copynght 1994 K7einfetder, Inc. Page 13 of 14
