' Fourth Quarter/Annual <br /> 2008 Groundwater <br /> ' ARCADIS Monitoring Report <br /> Chevron Bulk Fuel Terminal <br /> 100-1621 <br /> ' 22888 Kasson Road <br /> Banta,California <br /> • After the purge cycle was complete,a groundwater sample was collected for <br /> ' analysis with a disposable polyethylene bailer and transferred to the <br /> appropriate laboratory-supplied sample containers prefilled with preservative <br /> (samples collected for lead analysis were filtered with disposable 0.4 micron <br /> ' groundwater filters) <br /> Groundwater monitoring and sampling field data sheets are presented in Appendix A. <br /> ' Purge water and equipment decontamination water generated during the sampling <br /> event was containerized and disposed of by IWM offsite. <br /> ' Laboratory Analysis <br /> Following collection, samples were packed on ice, cooled to approximately 4° <br /> ' centigrade and shipped under appropriate chain-of-custody protocols for analysis to <br /> Lancaster Laboratories of Lancaster Pennsylvania,a California Department of Health <br /> Services-certified analytical laboratory.Analyses of samples collected from wells <br /> MW-24A, MW-25A, MW-26A, MW-27A, MW-28A, MW-29A, MW-30A, MW-31A and <br /> MW-32A included the following parameters: <br /> ' • Total petroleum hydrocarbons in the diesel range(TPH-DRO)[C10-C28]by United <br /> States Environmental Protection Agency(USEPA)Method 8015 and total <br /> petroleum hydrocarbons in the gasoline range(TPH-GRO)[C6-C12]by USEPA <br /> ' Method 8015 modified <br /> • Benzene, toluene,ethylbenzene and total xylenes(BTEX)by USEPA Method <br /> ' 8260B <br /> • Methyl tertiary butyl ether(MTBE),tertiary amyl methyl ether(TAME)and tertiary <br /> ' butyl alcohol(TBA)by USEPA Method 8260B <br /> Analyses of samples collected from well MW-22B, MW-23B and MW-50B included the <br /> ' following parameters: <br /> • TPH-DRO by USEPA Method 8015 <br /> ' • MTBE by USEPA Method 8260B <br /> ' Analyses of samples collected from wells MW-47A and MW-50A included the following <br /> parameters: <br /> ' 5of17 <br />
