The procedure is as follows: <br /> ' Vent wells to the atmosphere for a minimum of 10 minutes. Prior to measurement, the well sounder <br /> will be decontaminated. Also check the sounder for good working order and condition. Identify the <br /> reference mark on the top of well casing. Lower the sounder probe into well and note the distance <br /> between the audible sound (loud"beep") and the reference mark on the top of casing. Verify this <br /> distance a minimum of three times by lifting and dropping the wire line until the distance is <br /> consistent. Record this distance to an accuracy of 0.01 feet by reading the scale on the wire line. <br /> tAlso note the well location, time,and date along with the depth to ground water. <br /> 8.0 PROPOSED TIME SCHEDULE FOR WORK <br /> ' We propose beginning work on or about the October 15, 2004 and completing no later than 30' of <br /> November,2004. We anticipate a Well Construction and Monitoring Report will be completed on or <br /> ' about the 15' of January, 2005. <br /> ' 10 <br />
