ADDITIONAL INFORMATIONX-.dUIREMENTS-PHASE I SYSTEM .J <br /> SUTTER HOME WINERY <br /> LODI,SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY <br /> 13) Describe the storage and disposal of all solid wastes generated in the winemaking process. <br /> Include a description of operation and maintenance procedures that prevent odor complaints, <br /> fly breeding, or other nuisance condition. <br /> 14) For land disposal of wastewater,present loading rates for BOD (in lbs/acre/day), total nitrogen <br /> (in lbs/acre/year), and dissolved solids (in lbs/acre/year). Provide a description of the disposal <br /> area and the disposal technique. Describe the mixing ratio of wastewater and supplemental <br /> irrigation water prior to application, and describe the tailwater control and return system. <br /> (Note: Discharge of wastewater to fallow land is not an acceptable method of disposal). <br /> 15) Provide a conceptual cropping plan which describes available acreage, crop type, crop water <br /> usage, cutting, harvest, and removal. Wastewater application shall be performed at agronomic <br /> rates; cropping shall take up all applied nitrogen. <br /> 16) Provide information sufficient to determine whether this discharge of wastewater will <br /> adversely impact underlying groundwater. Propose groundwater monitoring well locations for <br /> all wastewater storage, land application areas, and the stormwater pond. <br /> 17) Before the Board can adopt WDRs for this discharge, the requirements of the California <br /> Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) must be complied with. Provide the County CEQA <br /> document for this facility. <br />
