ANDERSON &ASSOCIATES <br /> ' LODI, CALIFORNIA <br /> ' 1.0 INTRODUCTION <br /> 1.1 General Information <br /> Sampling will be conducted at the site by Neil O. Anderson and Associates, Inc (NOA) under the <br /> ' supervision of the San Joaquin Environmental Health Department. A sampling work plan has <br /> been prepared for the project. <br /> This Health and Safety Plan (HASP) specifies the procedures and protective measures that will <br /> be employed to ensure the health and safety of the individuals working in and around the site, <br /> and those who reside and/or work near the site. <br /> ' The purpose of this HASP is to provide site-specific safety information and procedures. Site- <br /> specific information and procedures contained herein include: a brief overview of site hazards, <br /> ' chemicals of concern, action levels, initial levels of personal protective equipment to be used for <br /> various site activities, decontamination procedures, air monitoring procedures, and emergency <br /> resources and information. <br /> '. The procedures in this document should be consistent with NOA's Health and Safety Policies. If <br /> there are any questions regarding possible inconsistencies please contact NOA. <br /> ' 1.2 Scope and Applicability of the Health and Safety Plan <br /> The provisions of this HASP are mandatory for all NOA personnel and subcontractors. <br /> Subcontractors doing fieldwork in association with the Work Plan either adopt and abide by this <br /> HASP or shall develop their own safety plans that, at a minimum, meet the requirements of this <br /> HASP. All on-site personnel shall read this plan before starting site activities. In addition, <br /> personnel will operate in accordance with the most current requirements of Title 8 California <br /> Code of Regulations, Section 5192 (T8 CCR Section 5192), Standards for Hazardous Waste <br /> Operations and Emergency Response(HAZWOPER). <br /> Onsite personnel are responsible for operating in accordance with all applicable regulations of <br /> the Division of Occupational Safety & Health (Cal/OSHA) outlined in T8 CCR General Industry <br /> and Construction Safety Orders. <br /> ' 902 Industrial Way•Lodi,CA 95240-209.367.3701 •Fax 209.369.4228 02012 Neil O.Anderson&Associates,Inc. <br />
