Copies of health and safety training certificates must be available for <br /> review by the Field Team Leader and Site Health and Safety Officer. <br /> If unforeseen site conditions or emergencies occur, the Field Team Leader shall ensure that the <br /> medical surveillance program is implemented as required by T8 CCR 5192. Additional <br /> responsibilities may include: <br /> iConsulting with the Project Manager and/or other personnel. <br /> • Preparation and submittal of any and all project reports — includes progress, accident, <br /> incident, contractual, etc. <br /> i Monitoring personnel decontamination to ensure that all personnel are complying with <br /> the established decontamination procedures. <br /> i3.2 Responsibilities of the Project Manager <br /> The responsibilities of the Project Manager include: <br /> iEnsure that a copy of the HASP is maintained onsite during all field activities <br /> • Advise the Field Team Leader on all health and safety-related matters involved onsite. <br /> i Direct and ensure that the safety program is being correctly followed in the field, <br /> including the proper use of personal protective equipment. <br /> • Ensure that field personnel observe the appropriate work zones and decontamination <br /> procedures. <br /> iReport any safety violations to the Field Team Leader. <br /> • Conduct and document safety briefings during field activities. <br /> 3.3 Responsibilities of Onsite Field Personnel <br /> The responsibilities of Onsite Field Personnel include: <br /> i . All personnel going onsite must be thoroughly briefed on anticipated hazards and <br /> trained on equipment to be worn, safety procedures to be followed, emergency <br /> i procedures, and communications. <br /> • Visual contact must be maintained between pairs onsite and site safety personnel. Field <br /> personnel should remain close together to assist each other during emergencies. <br /> i .
