SAN JOAQUIN LOCAL HEALTH DISTRICT <br /> RULES AND REGULATIONS PERTAINING TO SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY ORDINANCE NO. 877: <br /> N ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE COLLECTION TRANSPORTATION <br /> AM DISPOSAL OF REFUSE WITHIN THE UNINCORPORATED AR OF <br /> SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY AND REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 476 OF THE <br /> C2M J UI , D BY RDI N N , , _1481 <br /> 1. Limited Collectors (Sections 43 & 44) <br /> A. A limited collector (Section 43) making application for <br /> inspection of a vehicle to be used by applicant in the <br /> collection and transportation of refuse shall provide the <br /> following information: <br /> (1) NAME <br /> ADDRESS TELEPHONE NUMBER <br /> (2) The type, kind, and make of each truck or vehicle to be <br /> used by the applicant in the transportation of garbage <br /> or refuse; <br /> (3) Details of construction of such truck or vehicle which <br /> will prevent leakage, dripping or overflow therefrom; <br /> (4) The type and kind of cover used for covering its contents; <br /> (5) Place or places of disposal; <br /> (6) The method, manner, and frequency of cleaning such <br /> equipment; <br /> (7) A statement as to mechanical condition of such equipment. <br /> B. The Health District shall make an inspection of each truck or <br /> vehicle used to collect or transport food processing waste <br /> (cannery waste) . <br /> C. Trucks and vehicles must comply with the followings <br /> (1) Tight construction, with close fitting cover which must be <br /> kept in place from the point of last collection until <br /> delivered to disposal area. <br /> (2) Not permit leakage, spillage or overflow of its contents. <br /> (3) Be cleaned at least once daily in a satisfactory manner <br /> when in use. <br /> (4) Kept in sound mechanical condition. <br /> D. A number will be assigned by the Health District to each <br /> approved vehicle. <br /> S, Each approved vehicle will be marked as provided in Section 121 <br /> of the Ordinance. <br /> -1- <br />
