KLEINFELDER <br /> indicator The total depths for MW-1 MW-2 and MW-3 measured approximately 48 to 49 <br /> P � PP Y <br /> ' feet below ground surface The approximately 2-foot difference between the constructed depth <br /> of the wells and the pre-destruction depths is probably due to a combination of the following <br /> factors <br /> ► Silt infiltration and settling <br /> ' ► Disruption of the "ground surface" measuring datum dunng the post well construction <br /> ' removal of the asphalt and concrete surface <br /> ' Monitoring wells MW-1, MW-2, and MW-3 were destroyed by placing approximately 213 of a <br /> bucket of 318-inch bentonite pellets into the casing The pellets were gravity emplaced at a <br /> ' rate of approximately 2 cubic feet per hour Above the static water level, the pellets were <br /> alternately placed in approximately Moot lifts and hydrated with 1/2 gallon delonized water <br /> The well destruction was conducted under the observation of San Joaquin County Public <br /> Health Services <br /> r <br /> r <br /> 24-220152-DOOIFRI2-105 (1993) Page 10 of 18 duly 27, 1993 <br /> ' Copyright 1993 Kleinfelder, Inc. <br />
