KLEINELDER <br /> 5 TANK REMOVAL <br /> ' On April 29, 1993, W.M Lyles Company removed tanks T2 and T3 The tanks were <br /> removed under permit from San Joaquin County and personnel from the County and fire <br /> ' district were on site during the removal <br /> Tanks T2 and T3 were both approximately 750 gallon single-walled steel tanks buried at a <br /> ' depth of approximately 3 feet. The west end of both tanks was damaged, and numerous small <br /> (up to 112-inch diameter) holes were observed elsewhere on the tanks Neither tank contained <br /> petroleum hydrocarbon product, and only T3 had a detectable hydrocarbon odor Lower <br /> Explosive Limit (LEL) tests were negative Each tank received approximately 25 pounds of <br /> ' dry ice prior to removal. Upon removal, the tanks were given the designation numbers <br /> 391614-4 and 391614-5.
