If wastewater ponds exist on the site, <br /> have they ever overflowed? If stor►nwater ponds exist, have they ever overflowed? <br /> 12) Allowing for two feet of freeboard, what is the approximate storage capacity of the wastewater <br /> pond? Provide a water balance that evaluates the containment structures ability to provide <br /> sufficient capacity on a month-by-month basis. Include monthly evaporation,precipitation, <br /> and irrigation rates as well as monthly discharge volumes. Rainfall shall be based on the <br /> 100-year return period total annual precipitation. <br /> 13) Describe management provisions that will be implemented to prevent the occurrence of flies, <br /> mosquitoes, and odor nuisances as well as problems such as pond overflows (maintenance <br /> plans, standby pumps or generators, and contingency plans, etc.). <br /> 14) Describe the storage and disposal of all solid wastes generated in the processes. Include a <br /> description of operation and maintenance procedures that prevent odor complaints, fly <br /> breeding, or other nuisance condition. <br /> 15) If land disposal of wastewater is contemplated,present loading rates for BOD (in <br /> lbs/acre/day), total nitrogen (in lbs/acre/year), and dissolved solids (in lbs/acre/year). Provide <br /> a description of the disposal area and the disposal technique. State the number of acres of land <br /> used for disposal and crops planned for application areas (show locations of land on map). <br /> Include a cropping plan for any wastewater application area. (Note: Application of <br /> wastewater to fallow land is not an acceptable disposal technique). Describe the mixing ratio <br /> of wastewater and supplemental irrigation water prior to application, and describe the <br /> tailwater control and return system. <br /> 16) Provide infonnation sufficient to determine whether this discharge of wastewater will <br /> adversely impact underlying groundwater. <br /> 17) Before the Board can adopt WDRs for this discharge, the requirements of the California <br /> Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) must be complied with. Will the County adopt a CEQA <br /> document for this facility? If yes, give an anticipated date of adoption. If no, the Discharger <br /> will be responsible for hiring a consultant to complete all the CEQA documents.
