Contaminants of concern were detected in sampling <br /> Based d on a6 and ll April 003 <br /> SB-8. Both <br /> of these locations are at the northeastern boundary of the site <br /> phone conversation with Mr. Greg McIver of SECOR, there are monitoring wells that <br /> delineate to the northeast, but the location of the monitoring wells is not shown on the <br /> figures in the SAR or Annual Report. Furthermore, additional grab samples may be <br /> needed from the adjacent field. <br /> 5. Groundwater analytical results from samples in NSB-11 are higher than those from <br /> samples collected in the vicinity. ChevronTexaco needs to discuss thsource location of pollution <br /> in NSB-11 and why the concentrations are different in adjacent sampling <br /> 6. The development logs for the newly installed monitoring <br /> wells state that the turbidity is <br /> moderate to very high. ChevronTexaco needs to develop monitoring wells until a <br /> majority of sediments are removed from the well and the water is mostly clear, if <br /> possible. <br /> The locations specifically noted above, with the exception <br /> o nMW-7A, <br /> l s to characterization, eaco and <br /> because <br /> each is.located at the perimeter of the site. Although <br /> delineation sampling is needed,the additional work should <br /> comments and recommendations <br /> study. By 9 May 2003,please provide a response to the above <br /> for additional investigative work, if needed.
