1740 Houston Van Buskirk GolfCourse
,s
The Twining Laboratories will submit 'a workplan which propose a scope of work that
will provide enough data to characterize the extent of the release. PHS/EHD
recommends that the workplan include soil analyses to determine site specific
environmental fate attenuation factors, some of which are listed in the CVRWQCB
Designated Level Methodology, and a Waste Extraction Test to determine the
leachability of the most mobile, toxic, `and environmentally persistant fractions of the
waste.
The purpose of this workplan is to compile a complete site assessment report with all
data obtained to date. All soil and groiundwater analyses obtained to date should be
tabulated. The estimated extent of the contamination should be contoured on cross
sections which inculde lithologic- stratas, and well construction details. A mass
balance should be calculated for each concentration contour. The environmental
attenuation, leachability, waste characterization, and monitoring well data presented
in this report will be used to determine the risk of leaving the waste in place, or the
benefit of establishing and implementing site specific cleanup goals.
The compliance date for the workplanh is February 29, 1996.
f
M
t
