k' ■ KLEINFELDER <br /> C <br /> After collection, the soil and groundwater samples will be labeled, logged on a chain-of-custody, <br /> and immediately stored in an iced cooler. The soil samples will be transported to Kleinfelder's <br /> office and then transported by courier in a sealed container to Agricultural Primary Pollutant <br /> Laboratory (APPL) in Fresno , California for chemical analyses. A minimum of three soil and <br /> three groundwater samples and up to seven soil and groundwater samples will be analyzed for <br /> the following analyses: _ <br /> • Benzene, Toluene Ethylbenzene, Total Xylenes by EPA Method 8020 [BTEX] <br /> • Total Purgeable Petroleum Hydrocarbons as referenced to Gasoline [TPH-G] by EPA <br /> Method 8015M <br /> f <br /> • Fuel Oxygenates (DIPE, ETBE, MTBE, TAME AND TBA) by EPA Method 8260/B <br /> T <br /> Methanol and Ethanol by EPA Method 8015M <br /> The samples will be analyzed on a normal laboratory schedule requiring approximately two <br /> weeks (ten working days) for completion unless rush analytical turnaround is requested by the <br /> client. <br /> Task E05—Reporting <br /> i ' <br /> Upon completion of the field activities and receipt of the analytical results, a report of findings <br /> for the sampling will be prepared for client review. The report will include: <br /> • A description of the field activities, observations, and protocols <br /> • Tabulated results of samples with copies of certified results <br /> • Lithologic logs and, if appropriate, interpreted geologic cross sections; <br /> • .A graphical representation of sampling locations <br /> • Description and documentation of QA/QC procedures employed for field and laboratory <br /> 'work3 <br /> • Kleinfelder's conclusions and recommendations based on the data acquired. <br /> All information gathered during the study by Kleinfelder is considered confidential and will be <br /> released only upon written authorization from the client or as required by law. California law <br /> requires a person to inform the state if a situation is encountered that can be considered an <br /> immediate endangerment to the public's health or welfare and/or to the environment.
