IN REPLY REFER TO SITE CODE: 2287
} Acampo, CA
{ We are in receipt of the November, 1991 Final Report for the above
k referenced site. This report describes field activities during
over-excavation of contaminated soil, beneath an underground
storage tank (UST) previously located on the property, and
€ analytical results obtained from that investigation.
The soil samples collected and analyzed indicates no residual
contamination remains in the final excavation.
This letter confirms the completion of soil investigation and
remedial action for the UST previously located at the above site.
With the provision that the information provided to this agency was
accurate and representative of existing conditions, it is the
position of this office that no further soil remediation is
required beneath the previous UST area.
Please be advised that this letter does not relieve you of any
liability under the California Health and Safety Code or Water Code
for past, present or future operations at the site. Nor does this
letter relieve you of the responsibility to clean up existing,
" additional or previously unidentified conditions at the site, which
cause or threaten to cause pollution or nuisance or otherwise pose
a threat to water quality or public health. It is also the
property owners responsibility to notify this agency of any changes
in report content, future contamination findings or site usage.
In addition, a Soil Remediation Proposal (SRP) has been submitted
to this office by TreaTek, Inc. which describes a method for clean
up of the on-site contaminated stockpile removed during excavation.
Once clean up levels are achieved, a Site Certification Letter will
follow.
1
A Division of San Joaquin County Health Care Senices
