' 02 February 2004 r <br /> i AGE-NC Project No 99-0624 <br />' Page 3 of 8 <br /> • Benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene and total xylenes (BTEX) and methyl tertiary butyl ether <br />' (MTBE) in accordance with EPA Method 8020, and <br /> s <br /> • The fuel additives di-isopropyl ether (DIPE), ethyl tertiary-butyl ether (ETBE), MTBE, _ <br />' tertiary-amyl methyl ether (TAME) and tertiary butanol (TBA) in accordance with EPA <br /> Method 8260B <br /> 2 1 5 Monitoring Well Development <br />' On 24 July 2003, monitoring wells MW-6 and MW-7 were developed utilizing a Watera hydrolift <br /> pump Ground water was purged from each monitoring well until ground water was visually <br />' sediment free Approximately 18 gallons of water were removed from well MW-6 and <br /> approximately 60 gallons of water were removed from well MW-7 Ground water temperature,pH <br /> and conductivity were measured at regular intervals during purging using an Oakton water analyzer <br />' Field sheets and data are included in Appendix B Purged water was stored on-site in properly <br /> labeled, 55-gallon DOT-approved drums <br />' At the request of San Joaquin County EHD personnel, ground water samples were collected from <br /> wells MW-6 and MW-7 after development procedures were complete The water samples were <br />' collected using a Watera hydrolift pump and dedicated tubing after allowing the wells to achieve a <br /> minimum 80%recovery of the pre-purge water volume Each water sample was transferred into three <br /> 40-m1, VOA vials containing 05 ml 18% .hydrochloric acid as a sample preservative After <br />' collection, the samples were properly labeled, placed in a chilled container and transported under <br /> chain-of-custody to CAL for analysis The samples were analyzed for <br />' 0 TPH-g in accordance with EPA Method 8015M, ` <br /> • BTEX and MTBE, in accordance with EPA Method 8020, and <br />' MTBE,DIPE,ETBE,TAME,TBA, 1,2-dichloroethane(1,2-DCA)and ethylene dibromide <br /> (EDB) in accordance with EPA Method 8260B <br /> I <br /> 2 1 6 Well Head Survey <br />' On 20 October 2003,a California state-licensed survey engineer from Mid Coast Engineers surveyed <br /> the well location and the elevation at the top of the well casing of monitoring wells MW-6 and <br /> I MW-7 relative to City of Lodi Bench Mark #563 The results of the monitoring well survey are <br /> contained in Tables 1 and 2 The surveying report (Mid Coast Engineers) is presented in <br /> Appendix C <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc <br /> I <br />
