A <br /> Bob Mulford Page 2 <br /> There is no preliminary assessment data to characterize the extent of contamination beneath the <br /> dispensers , which have been removed, or the product lines , which are still present. PHS/EHD <br /> recommends additional investigation to assess the need for corrective action in these areas . <br /> PHS/EHD requires a work plan which describes a method to provide data necessary to assess <br /> the extent of soil and groundwater contamination beneath the northern excavation, the dispenser <br /> island , and the product lines . In addition to the investigation work plan, you may submit a work <br /> plan for interim remediation of this area by excavation and disposal of contaminated soil as you <br /> indicated during our meeting . A work plan for interim remediation or additional investigation <br /> should be submitted by November 15 , 1995 .
