Based on the site conditions, it appears that a shallow excavation to <br /> approximately 14 feet would be sufficient to remove the major contaminated <br /> soils at this site. 1 would suggest to the consultant to eliminate shoring and <br /> dewatering from their proposal, and resubmit it for pre-approval. I believe <br /> that once the contaminated soils are excavated, a well pair should be installed <br /> to replace MW-3,and a second deep well should be installed near MW-5- <br /> Cori and I will call you around 2pm to discuss. <br />
