We estimate that the costs for these items,would be approximately $18,000. This <br /> estimate does not include charges that may be imposed by regulatory agencies for oversight. <br /> The cost for consultant oversight during the excavation, grading, and capping process, including <br /> collection and analyses of remedial confirmation samples at Area 10 is approximately $14,000. <br /> Area 11 <br /> PNA cancer risk-based target concentrations were exceeded at I IB-7-1.0 and I IB-13-1.0. As <br /> with Area 10, we will assume that arsenic contamination will be dealt with by spot removal, <br /> although no soil samples containing arsenic at 20 mg/kg have been found. PNA contamination <br /> will be removed. Assuming that a five-foot square by five feet deep area(PNA contamination is <br /> • not found at 6.5 feet below grade) is excavated at each location, approximately 10 cubic yards of <br /> soil (15 tons) will require excavation and disposal at a Class II Non-Hazardous Landfill at a cost <br /> range of$615 to $780, plus $400 premium for soil profiling and transportation due to the small <br /> volume. <br /> The costs associated with remedial action planning, management, and reporting, which would <br /> likely be required by DTSC at this site include preparing a Remedial Action Work Plan and <br /> Health and Safety Plan prior to implementing the work, a Soil Management Plan for use during <br /> and after development, and a Remedial Action Completion Report documenting the remedial <br /> action. We estimate that the costs for these items would be approximately $18,000.
