No headspace will be present in the cylinder once the sample is collected. Care will be taken to avoid contamination of both the inside and outside of the cylinder as well as its contents. During sampling,!latex gloves will be wom to prevent I cross-contamination with other samples. One pair of disposable gloves will be dedicated to each sample collected. , Once the sample is collected, each end of the cylinder;will be sealed with aluminum foil or teflon tape and then capped with a polyethylene lid, taped, and labeled. The sample will then be individually sealed in a ziplock bag and immediately placed in an ice chest containing dry ice f p or frozen chemical ice for delivery to a state certified laboratory.
