San Joaquin County Page 1 Phase II Assessment Work Plan <br /> Public Health Services Tracy, California <br /> Environmental Health Division 30 April 1999 <br /> Introduction <br /> The purpose of this work plan is to describe the proposed scope of work attendant to conducting <br /> soil and groundwater sampling at a parcel located adjacent to the northwest corner of West Grant <br /> Line Road and Naglee Road, in the city of Tracy, San Joaquin County, California (the subject <br /> property). Roy F. Weston, Inc. (WESTON®) has been retained the Home Depot, U.S.A., Inc. to <br /> conduct a Phase II Environmental Site Assessment at the above referenced property. Home Depot <br /> is investigating potential development of the property as a retail store. The City of Tracy <br /> Planning office has requested investigation to determine whether significant impacts to soil and/or <br /> groundwater from past agricultural use of the property or nearby historical presence of petroleum <br /> pipelines may have occurred. <br /> This Phase II assessment will consist of advancing direct push borings in order to sample soil and <br /> groundwater in various locations across the subject property.
