00-3737
Paragon prepared this LSI for the sole and exclusive use of the Client, its successors and
assigns as specified in the Agreement. We do not intend any other individual or party to
rely upon it without Paragon's express written authorization. To the extent that another
individual or party acts in reliance, such party shall indemnify and hold Paragon harmless
for any damages, losses, or expenses arising therefrom.
Please be advised that the passage of time may result in a change in the environmental
characteristics at the Site and surrounding properties. Paragon does not render an opinion
as to environmental Site conditions that may subsequently change. The conclusions and
recommendations contained herein remain valid for 120 days from the date of this LSI.
5.2 Limitations & Conditions of the LSI
For the purposes of this LSI, Paragon performed professional services, obtained findings,
and prepared recommendations in accordance with customary principles and practices in
the fields of environmental science and engineering. We based the recommendations and
conclusions discussed herein solely and in reliance upon information collected as a result
of activities delineated in the Scope of Services (see Section 1.2).
The subsurface investigation included the collection of soil and groundwater samples from
a limited number of locations at the Site. However, Paragon did not intend this study to
be a definitive investigation of subsurface conditions at the Site. We limited the scope of
services for this investigation due to time and/or cost constraints, and though we did
undertake a limited amount of analytical testing, currently unrecognized subsurface
conditions may exist at the Site. Increasing exploration (such as placement of test pits;
completion of additional soil borings with subsequent collection of soil samples for
laboratory analysis; installation of additional groundwater monitoring wells with
subsequent collection of groundwater samples for laboratory analysis; and conducting
surface geophysical survey techniques) could better delineate subsurface conditions.
3422 West Hammer Lane,Stockton,California
—10—
