The tidal stage at the time of monitoring <br /> shall also be logged and all unusual events with the dredge operations that may affect water <br /> quality or monitoring such as pipeline breakages shall be noted. <br /> 1Dissolved Oxygen measurements shall be collect from two feet above the river bottom. <br /> 3Acute Toxicity Test shall be conducted in accordance with EPA/600/4-90/027, or later <br /> amendment, with Regional Board staff approval, using juvenile fathead minnow,Pimephales <br /> prom elas,as the test species. The ambient water temperature and pH shall be recorded at the time <br /> the toxicity test sample is collected. Sampling for R-2 shall be performed down current,mid depth <br /> in the water column and in the center of any visible turbidity plume from the dredging operations. <br /> In addition,if receiving water monitoring shows a violation of the Receiving Water Limitations, <br /> then the Discharger shall immediately collect an additional grab sample and analysis for acute <br /> toxicity. <br /> 4 Constituents of concern will be identified by Regional Board staff after reviewing the pre-dredge sediment <br /> and elutriate analysis.
