WASTE DISCHARGE REQUIREMENTS GENERAL ORDER 4- US ARMY CORPS OF ENGINEERS PORT OF STOCKTON MAINTENANCE DREDGING STOCKTON DEEP WATER SHIP CHANNEL CONTRA COSTA, SACRAMENTO, & SAN JOAQUIN COUNTIES 18. The Board has notified the Dischargers and interested agencies and persons of its intent to prescribe General Order Waste Discharge Requirements for the Stockton Deep Water Ship Channel's maintenance dredging activities. 19. The Board, in a public meeting, heard and considered all comments pertaining to the discharge. IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that Order No. 94-180 (revised) is rescinded and the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers and the Port of Stockton, in order to meet the provisions contained in Division 7 of the California Water Code and regulations adopted thereunder, shall comply with the following: A. APPLICABILITY: 1. All dredging discharges covered by this Order shall be limited to maintenance dredging activities associated with the Stockton Deep Water Ship Channel identified in Finding Nos. 2 and 3 above. 2. Before the Dischargers' maintenance dredging projects can be considered for coverage by this order, a complete Notice of Intent (as detailed in Attachment B) and filing fee must be submitted. 3. The Discharge Applicability Table to follow, establishes the maximum sediment concentrations that can be allowed under this General Order for Maintenance Dredging and Disposal Projects on the San Joaquin River. The first column lists the constituents of concern and the second set of columns establishes the maximum dredged sediment concentrations that can be allowed for discharging to the DMD sites only. The third set of columns concentrations are the maximum sediment concentrations that can be allowed and have both dredged sediment discharged to the DMD and allow decant waters from the sedimentation basins to be discharged back to the river.
