WASTE DISCHARGE REQUIREMENTS GENERAL ORDER 4- <br /> US ARMY CORPS OF ENGINEERS <br /> PORT OF STOCKTON <br /> MAINTENANCE DREDGING STOCKTON DEEP WATER SHIP CHANNEL <br /> CONTRA COSTA, SACRAMENTO, & SAN JOAQUIN COUNTIES <br /> 18. The Board has notified the Dischargers and interested agencies and persons of its intent to <br /> prescribe General Order Waste Discharge Requirements for the Stockton Deep Water Ship <br /> Channel's maintenance dredging activities. <br /> 19. The Board, in a public meeting, heard and considered all comments pertaining to the <br /> discharge. <br /> IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that Order No. 94-180 (revised) is rescinded and the U. S. Army <br /> Corps of Engineers and the Port of Stockton, in order to meet the provisions contained in Division <br /> 7 of the California Water Code and regulations adopted thereunder, shall comply with the <br /> following: <br /> A. APPLICABILITY: <br /> 1. All dredging discharges covered by this Order shall be limited to maintenance dredging <br /> activities associated with the Stockton Deep Water Ship Channel identified in Finding <br /> Nos. 2 and 3 above. <br /> 2. Before the Dischargers' maintenance dredging projects can be considered for coverage <br /> by this order, a complete Notice of Intent (as detailed in Attachment B) and filing fee <br /> must be submitted. <br /> 3. The Discharge Applicability Table to follow, establishes the maximum sediment <br /> concentrations that can be allowed under this General Order for Maintenance Dredging <br /> and Disposal Projects on the San Joaquin River. The first column lists the constituents <br /> of concern and the second set of columns establishes the maximum dredged sediment <br /> concentrations that can be allowed for discharging to the DMD sites only.
