k` ■ K L E I N F E L D E R
3BACKGROUND
Kleinfelder, Inc. understands that March Lane is proposed to extend from the undercrossing at
the Southern Pacific Railroad to Holman Road. The city of Stockton is interested in addressing
environmental concerns related to the March Lane Extension Project. Pesticides, herbicides, and
metals may be present in an orchard located within the proposed extension area. Additionally,
Blossom Ranch Farms (also within the project area) may have underground storage tanks
(USTs). It is unknown if these tanks have leaked. Therefore, Kleinfelder recommended a limited
Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessment.
This report addresses Tasks 2, 3, 4 and 5 of Kleinfelder's "Proposal, Limited Phase I and II ESA,
March Lane Extension to Holman Road, Stockton, California", dated June 22, 1998. This report
addresses the Limited Phase II Environmental Site Assessment which includes a geophysical
survey to identify potential UST locations. Based on the results of the geophysical survey, soil
sampling was conducted in the potential UST areas. Soil sampling was also conducted in the
orchard and field areas between SPRR and Holman Road.
20-3712-08.E02/2018R1090 Page 5 of 17
©1998,k1einfelder,Inc.
