Hunter Street SWRCB-CUF#: 018305
Stockton, CA. 95202
WORKPLAN: Revised Work Plan — Underground Storage Tank (UST)
Investigation
DATED: March 17, 2005
PREPARED BY: URS — Erik Skov, R.G.
STATUS: APPROVED with conditions noted below.
ADEQUATE AND NECESSARY ELEMENTS OF THE WORKPLAN [Health &
Safety Code (H&S) Section 25296.1 0(c)(3)1:
• Install four (4) 2-inch PVC monitoring wells onsite to evaluate ground
water impact from the recently discovered 'unknown' UST and,
• Collect and analyze selected soil samples for TPI-Ig & TPI-ld, VOCs,
semi-VOCs, Oil & Grease, metals, and PCBs as required by SJCEHD
and,
• Survey in new wells and quarterly monitor and sample for one year,
submit Quarterly Monitoring Report (QMR), and submit the report of
findings of the monitoring well installations to SJCEHD.
COMMENTS AND CONDITIONS:
• The proposal calls for only submitting soil samples from the new
monitoring well 'in' the former UST pit area for laboratory analysis.
Although previous subsurface soil data exists for this site, SJCEHD
cautions that delineation conclusions that are required in the report
of findings for this phase that are not supported by laboratory data
may not be accepted and further investigation in these areas will be
required. An adequate number of soil samples should be collected
and analyzed during this phase to support all conclusions for lateral
and vertical delineation.
