In the absence of impacts, soil samples will be collected
at the identified default sampling depths, which are based on the presumed nature of the potential release.
2—Soil will be collected for laboratory analysis of VOCs only if organic vapor readings indicate the presence of
elevated organic vapor concentrations. Soil for VOC analysis will be collected from the interval exhibiting the greatest
indication of impacts.
3-Metals analysis will include the USEPA priority pollutant metals list, which includes: Ag,As, Be,Cd, Cr, Cu, Hg,
Ni, Pb,Sb,Se,TI,Zn.
Task 3 - Reporting
After completion of the subsurface investigation, and receipt of all laboratory data, ENVIRON
will prepare a Phase II Report. It is expected that preliminary analytical results will be received
from the laboratory approximately 10 working days following the receipt of samples at the
laboratory. The information related to this investigation will include a description of field
procedures, tables summarizing sampling results, figures depicting sampling locations, boring
logs, and laboratory data reports. ENVIRON's conclusions regarding the significance of the
findings also will be included in the report. The report will be prepared under the direct
supervision of, and signed by, a California Professional Geologist (PG) or professional engineer
(PE).
3
