Failed to comply with new hazardous waste tank assessment requirements. The 500 gallon waste <br />oil tank lacks a hazardous waste tank assessment. Owners/ operators of new tank systems or <br />components shall ensure that the foundation, structural support, seams, connections are adequately <br />designed and that the tank system has sufficient structural strength, compatibility with waste oil that is <br />transferred, stored, or treated and corrosion protection so that it will not collapse, rupture or fail. Correct <br />by obtaining a written assessment reviewed and certified by an independent, qualified, California - <br />certified professional engineer attesting that the system has sufficient structural integrity.
