It is our
understanding that the fuel system(s)at the site consists of the following:
* (1)20,000 gallon UST and(1) 15,000 gallon UST
* (6)multi product dispensers
The horizontal sampling probes (HSP) consist of 3/4" slotted PVC. They are located within each
piping trench within 60" horizontally and within 4" vertically from each piping run. They are not
required on piping that has 3rd or tertiary containment. HSPS are also installed within 18"horizontal
of all tanks at a minimum depth of 12" from the top of the tank or 12" above any known water table
that might submerse the tanks. HSPS are installed between tanks when the distance between tanks is
36" or greater. HSP runs are terminated at grade level near dispensers and in a dedicated manhole at
the tank farms for sampling purposes.
If you have questions or need additional information,please don't hesitate to call. If we are unable to
answer certain technical questions,we will gladly refer you to Praxair so you have all of the necessary
information to approve this work plan and testing protocol.
Sincerely,
CGRS, Inc.
Ilo eau
FMP/CGRS IO/Correspondence/ 27
P.O.
