Grant Line Road, Tracy,CA 95304 <br /> The permit application to install an underground storage tank(UST)system at the above referenced <br /> location has been received. The following deficiencies/discrepancies must be corrected prior to approval: <br /> 1. Submit manufacturers' cut sheets, and approval from testing organization,for the followings: <br /> a. Interstitial Sensor: The cut sheet submitted is for dry annular tank,but the plan indicated <br /> the sensor is hydrostatic brine reservoir sensor. Correct this conflict and submit correct <br /> cut sheet. <br /> b. Sump Penetration: The cut sheet submitted is for APT,but the plan l/F2.lindicated the <br /> product is different from APT. Sump penetration shall be approved by an independent <br /> testing organization in accordance with industry codes,voluntary consensus standards,or <br /> engineering standards. <br /> 2. Submit contractor's license, hazardous substance removal certification,and workmen's <br /> compensation insurance and training certification. <br /> 3. Before the underground storage tank is placed in use,the underground storage tank shall be tested <br /> after installation using one of the following methods to demonstrate that the tank is product tight: <br /> a. Enhanced leak detection. <br /> b. An inert gas pressure test that has been certified by a third party and approved by the <br /> board. <br /> Provide the design and scope of work of this requirement. A separate permit is required. A copy <br /> of permit is enclosed. You may choose to revise you plan to include this requirement. <br /> Please noted that this review is based on Health and Safety Code 25290.2. for underground storage tanks <br /> installed on or after July 1, 2003 and before July 1,2004. IF UNDERGROUND STORAGE TANKS <br /> ARE INSTALLED ON OR AFTER JULY 1,2004,NEW DESIGN AND REQUIREMENTS SHALL BE <br /> RESUBMITTED FOR REVIEW. <br /> If you have any further questions,please call me at(209)468-9850. <br /> Steven C.
