S E C O R - Ms Mary Schulz June 3, 2004 Page 4 SECOR will exercise the industry standard of care in an attempt to identify and locate potential underground structures utilizing personal knowledge provided by the facility owner and/or operator, private utility location service, public underground utility location services (assuming the region is equipped with public utility one-call notification service), and hand digging the initial ground surface penetration at each respective borehole location to a depth of approximately 5-feet bgs using a hand auger of equal or greater diameter than the proposed drilling equipment. More exhaustive methods to locate potential unknown underground manmade structures, such as geophysical or design/as- built records search techniques, were not requested and are not included in this proposal. PROJECT SCHEDULE SECOR is prepared to proceed with this work immediately upon receipt of your written authorization. SECOR will provide final reports to GE Franchise Finance by June 24, 2004. AUTHORIZATION For your convenience, an Authorization Form (Attachment 2) has been included to expedite the commencement of the work described in this proposal.
