INTRODUCTION AND SCOPE OF WORK <br /> At the request of Mr.Pat Mitchell of California Natural Products,Inc.,Advanced GeoEnvironmental, <br /> Inc. (AGE) has prepared this report regarding ground water sampling on two agricultural parcels <br /> located at in Lathrop, California, and the analytical results obtained from those samples. Site <br /> addresses for the two adjoining parcels are uncertain, but are thought to be 2020 E. Park Street and <br /> 2440 E.Louise Avenue. The scope of work was to advanced five soil probe borings to 20 feet below <br /> surface grade (bsg) to collect ground water samples. The objective was to assess impacts to the <br /> parcels,if any,via ground water from nearby sites. The location of the parcels is illustrated in Figure <br /> 2. A plan of the site is depicted in Figure 2. <br /> This report is prepared in accordance with San Joaquin County Public Health Services - <br /> Environmental Health Division(PHS-EHD)and the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control <br /> Board guidelines for the investigation of UST sites <br /> 2.0. BACKGROUND <br /> During the course of a Phase I site investigation the following information was developed. <br /> 2.1. SITE LOCATION <br /> The parcels are located in the southwest quarter of Section 25, Township 1 South, Range 6 East, <br /> Mount Diablo Base and Meridian (MDB&M). Parcel 17 occupies 29.68 acres, parcel 18 occupies <br /> 16.45 acres,according to Maps 09 and 10,respectively,in Book 198 of the San Joaquin County Tax <br /> Assessors' Office <br /> -i <br /> The parcels are located in Lathrop, California, north of Louise Avenue,' of Park Street and <br /> further east of McKinley Road,well south of Lathrop Road, es of the Union Pacific Railroad Line <br /> P �( and further west of a former Magnesium_ plant. The paze s-are in an agricultural/ <br /> y,N5 PFla,'�kcommercial/industrial area of low topographic relief at an elevation between 20 and 25 feet above <br /> mean sea level. The regional slope of the area is gently toward the southwest. The surface of the <br /> parcels are unpaved and are utilized for agricultural purposes. No structures are present on the <br /> parcels. The only known use of the parcels has been for agricultural purposes. <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc. <br />
