DRAFT <br />X Being aware of changes that are made in facility operations and determining whether <br />any changes must be made to the facility's storm water management and pollution <br />prevention efforts; <br />X Maintaining a clear line of communication with, and between, management and <br />operations to ensure a cooperative partnership; <br />X Overseeing routine materials inventory and recommending ways to reduce or <br />eliminate the use of hazardous materials and generation of wastes; <br />X Implementing and overseeing the employee training programs; <br />X Implementing and overseeing the SMP inspection programs; <br />X Identifying potential pollutant sources and recommending ways to alleviate problem <br />areas through changes in operations, equipment, layout, and materials; <br />X Incorporating into QBR=s written Manufacturing and Operations Procedures (MPS) <br />relative BMPs as defined by the SWPPT and the SMP; <br />X Coordinating the implementation of best management practices, reviewing the <br />effectiveness of the site=s SWPPP and updating the SWPPP as needed; and <br />X Reporting the results, and problems when encountered, to the appropriate agencies <br />and organizations. <br />Table 2: Storm Water Pollution Prevention Team (see Section 3: Facility Information <br />Tables) identifies facility personnel who have been assigned to the SWPPT, along with <br />their responsibilities. A copy of this roster shall be posted at the facility so that other <br />facility employees are aware of who is responsible for storm water management at the site. <br />If site personnel notice potential sources of pollutants or have suggestions to help reduce <br />storm water pollution, they should notify the appropriate team member. Active participation <br />of all site personnel in helping to identify and eliminate potential storm water pollution <br />sources is vital to the success of the facility's storm water management efforts. <br />CATEMMMPREV2.doc Section 1-7 <br />
