At the end of each day sweep impervious surfaces (i.e, <br />processing/operational areas and shipping/recviving areas) to remove <br />debris blown or washed from loading, unloading and storage areas; <br />X Waste Management: Manage wastes generated and stored onsite in such a <br />manner as to prevent pollutants from contaminating stormwater, including, <br />but not limited to the following: <br />a. Store and dispose all hazardous wastes in accordance QBR=s <br />Hazardous Materials Business Plan; <br />b. Stage all solid waste (i.e., municipal trash) containers (i.e., bins, drums <br />etc) on an impervious surface; <br />C. Solid wastes (i.e., trash and scrap metal) containers/areas must be <br />kept covered at all times when not in use; <br />d. Do not overfill waste containers; <br />e. At least daily inspect each solid waste storage area and clean/remove <br />accumulated trash, litter and debris; <br />f. Clean up all spills and leaks using dry techniques only; <br />1.6.3 Sediment and Erosion Control <br />Once each month, representatives of QBR=s SWPPP Team shall inspect the site <br />and identify areas where soils are being worn or eroded by surface drainage. The <br />SWPPP Team shall be responsible for insuring that soil erosion is minimized at the <br />site through implementation and maintenance of appropriate soil erosion controls, <br />including, but not limited to the following: <br />X Diverting runoff away from areas of erosion; and/or <br />X Stabilizing/covering the erosion areas with vegetation, gravel, retention <br />structures and/or pavement and concrete. <br />CATEMP\SMPREV2.doc Section 1-22 <br />
