DRAFT <br />b. Store fluid -bearing parts undercover on an impervious, bermed <br />surface. <br />c. Immediately clean-up any spills or leaks using dry methods only (i.e., <br />adsorbents, sweeping, machine scrubbing, etc). <br />d. At the end of each shift/day, inspect the maintenance areas and <br />remove all accumulated trash, debris, spills, leaks, used absorbents, <br />etc. Store all parts and generated waste motor fluids in accordance <br />with QBR=s Hazardous Materials Business Plan; <br />e. During maintenance activities, do not leave open containers of motor <br />oils, waste fluids or other chemical materials un -attended. <br />f. At all times maintain site equipment and vehicles in good operating <br />order and in accordance with manufacturers= recommendations. At <br />least weekly, inspect all forklifts, pumps, compressors, vehicles, etc, to <br />insure that there are no leaks or accumulation of contaminants. <br />X Materials loading, unloading and storage: Materials loading, unloading <br />and storage activities shall be conducted in such a manner so as to prevent <br />stormwater runoff from contacting pollutants and avoid spills in areas where <br />hazardous and non -hazardous materials are loaded, unloaded (e.g. delivery <br />or shipping docks) or stored (bulk storage areas, etc.), including, but not <br />limited to the following BMPs: <br />a. Park delivery vehicles so that spills or leaks can be contained; <br />b. Protect materials from rainfall, run-on, run-off and wind dispersal. <br />C. Position roof down spouts to direct stormwater away from loading <br />areas, unloading areas, work areas and storage areas; <br />d.
